Bajaj Pulsar NS200 Might Get A New Red-White Colour Option

Bajaj Auto recently shared a new TV commercial, "Chalk Lines" with the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200, which spread the message to follow new social distancing norms while driving. The TVC showed the country's new normal and urged every driver to keep "Do Gaj Ki Doori," which is six feet of social distance. The entire commercial featured various Pulsar riders performing various stunts while keeping a safe distance from each other to demonstrate the precise control and power transfer of the bike. Bajaj is known for its quirky TVCs and this one is no different.

More details

Interestingly, this commercial also showed the Pulsar NS200 in a new and sporty red and white paint job. This gives us an indication that Bajaj is planning to introduce a new paint scheme for its popular Pulsar NS200. The company is already selling the bike with a red and black paint option. This new color option makes the bike even more attractive and sporty.

The upcoming paint scheme will mainly include three hues, the red, black and white paint combination throughout the bike. This combination makes the fuel tank, fairings, headlight assembly and tail section appear in bright red and white tones, while the wheels look really impressive and are painted entirely in white.

The 2020 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 is currently sold in four main color options including Graphite Black, Wild Red, Mirage White, and Fiery Yellow. However, there is a very fair chance that the new paintwork will also be available in international markets. Regarding the domestic markets, the Bikemaker has officially said nothing about the new paint scheme, but this new paint scheme could arrive here before the coming Christmas season.

Apart from the color, we don't expect any mechanical changes to the bike. The Pulsar 200NS is equipped with a liquid-cooled four-valve engine with 199.5 ccm displacement, which can generate a maximum output of 24.2 HP and a maximum torque of 18.5 Nm. This is 1 hp more and 0.2 Nm more than the previous BS4 version of the bike. The gearbox remains the same six-speed gearbox.

In terms of equipment, the bike is equipped with a semi-digital instrument panel that has an analog tachometer and a backlit digital display for informatics such as current speed, odometer, odometer, fuel gauge, fuel efficiency and service due indicator, ABS status, to name just a few. At launch, we expect the new color option to be a little more expensive than the current color options. Currently the Bajaj Pulsar NS 200 BS6 INR costs 1.3 lakh.
